Location and convenience are two great attributes in choosing a vacation rental. The Hacienda de La Tortuga condo complex has a great location on Half Moon Bay and unit 1 with its ground floor position builds on that by adding all of the convenience of being just steps from the pool and beach. Add in an onsite restaurant and proximity to other restaurants and shops within walking distance and you have both bases well covered.
The Hacienda de la Tortuga complex offers residents and guests a beach front pool to chill, chaise lounge chairs pool and beach side, and thatch palapa umbrellas on the beach for those who want some shade. A spectacular coral reef in Half Moon Bay comes close to the shore at this location making it an ideal place for snorkeling.
While much of your time will be spent outdoors, you will need to come inside once in a while and when you do, you will not be disappointed. An open concept design takes full advantage of the view with the entire frontage made up of ceiling to floor sliding glass doors that not only take in the view, but offer easy access to the terrace and pool/beach just beyond.
The kitchen is compact but has most everything that you might require to prepare meals in. A breakfast bar with 4 stools between the kitchen and dining area is convenient and allows the natural light to flood the kitchen. The open concept living, dining and kitchen areas are airy and bright making them a desirable place for the group to hang out when not out enjoying the sun, water and sand or out on an adventure.
Directly off of the living and dining rooms, is your private terrace that could not be more conveniently located then just steps from the pool. One side of the terrace is open with a couple of chaise loungers for sunning. The other side off the terrace is covered. A small table and chairs is ideally placed here for dining al fresco while enjoying the view and fresh sea breeze. There is even a gas grill should you want to grill up that fresh catch of the day.
Directly behind the open concept living and dining area are the two bedrooms. The Master suite is behind the living room and has a window that opens up to this area. The opening does not have glass but can be closed off with bifold doors. This unique feature offers a view from the bedroom and additional natural light into the room, yet in the evening or any other time privacy is desired, it can be closed off. The bedroom is fitted with a King bed and an en-suite bathroom with separate show/bath stall that is open to the bedroom.
The guest bedroom if also located at the back of the condo with the guest bathroom located right beside the entry into the bedroom. This bedroom is also fitted with a King bed. Windows on either side allow plenty of natural light into the room. A window bench with cushions is a nice private place to get lost in a book. The guest bathroom has a shower.
The Hacienda de la Tortuga condo complex is a great choice for someone looking to enjoy a tropical beach vacation. White sand beach stretching in both directions… Calm blue Caribbean waters, an oceanfront pool and great restaurant on site. And did we mention the view…
Half Moon Bay in Akumal offers an inviting family and couples atmosphere that is relaxed and casual. A number of restaurants, bars, shops and activities are available in Akumal making it a great place to spend a weeks vacation. Outside of Akumal there are many activities and services within a short drive that are easily accessible by rental car, taxi or the local bus system.

Exceeding this limit, parties, dinners, get-togethers, drop in visitors, or any other form of access involving non registered guests is a direct violation of our rental agreement and could be reason to ask you to vacate unless prior permission has been granted. .
