Condo Playa del Amor, or ‘Beach of Love’ in English, is situated in the B building of the stylish and very popular Quinta Maya condo complex. This building is positioned behind the oceanfront building so you do not have an ocean view, however, the view of the gardens and freeform pool right below your terrace is pretty darn nice and most importantly, you are only steps from the beach and ocean where you will find another small freeform pool plus chaise lounges on the beach and around the pool for residents and renters of the complex to enjoy. So… all of the amenities of a beachfront complex, without the beachfront price.
The one bedroom condo Playa del Amor is a simple yet inviting little love nest that is ideal for a couple who are looking for a comfortable base to enjoy a tropical vacation or if requiring an additional sleeping space, the living room couch makes into a double bed. The main living area of the condo has a sitting area with sofa and chair to relax. It is open to the dining area and kitchenette. A large mirror extending the length of the living room wall adds to the sense of space and airiness of the room.
The condo has a very inviting compact yet full kitchen that is equipped with all of the essentials needed for preparing everything from a light snack to full meals. A dining table for two plus a compliment of the basic dish and cook ware makes dining in comfortable should you choose to do so. Off this area is a sliding patio door leading out to a small terrace. This is the ideal place to start your day with that morning coffee or to re-cap another day in paradise over a late afternoon cocktail. The terrace looks down on the garden pool and lush tropical vegetation surrounding it. Toward the back of the condo you will find the bedroom which has a King size bed and TV. The compact bathroom is just between the bedroom and living areas and is tastefully done in earth tone tiles with a large and airy shower.
The Quinta Maya condo complex has a total of 19 units between the two buildings so it is a small, sophisticated and intimate environment where you will feel relaxed and welcome by the friendly owners and other guests, many of whom have been returning for years. The complex offers two captivating, free form swimming pools, beautiful gardens, and an inviting slice of white sand beach rimmed by warm, gin clear Caribbean water. The entire development is stylish and well manicured.
The architect and developer of the Quinta group of condominium projects has brought great detail and classic Spanish design to Puerto Aventuras. These buildings stand out even from a distance with their interesting lines. As they draw you in for closer inspection you cannot help but be impressed with the attention to detail. Arches & curves, hand carved doors, decorative iron work, chandeliers, stone carvings, marble mosaics, domed ceilings, and wonderful columns are all part of the extras which make these buildings something special.
Adding to the desirability of this location is the closeness to the village center. Just a short two minute stroll down the beach will take you to the main marina and commercial center of Puerto Aventuras. Here you will find restaurants, bars, boutiques, a number of services and many activities such as swim with dolphins, deep sea fishing charters, scuba and snorkel tours and catamaran tours. Less than ten minutes’ walk will take you to the golf and tennis center. Having so many activities and services close at hand, yet still be a small, very safe community 24 hours a day, is one of the charms of Puerto Aventuras.

- Rates are in US dollars and include 22% tax.
- Rates are and subject to change until reservation is confirmed.
- Add $50 USD for Sunday arrivals and $50 USD for Sunday departures.
- The maximum occupancy of the condo is 2 people.
- The minimum rental is one week. During the winter season Saturday to Saturday bookings are preferred. Others will be considered on an individual basis.
- A non-refundable $95 USD Accidental Damage Waiver Fee is required which provides up to $1500 USD in coverage.
- Access to this property is limited to the persons indicated on your confirmation. Exceeding this limit, parties, dinners, get-togethers, drop in visitors, or any other form of access involving non registered guests is a direct violation of our rental agreement and could be reason to ask you to vacate unless prior permission has been granted.
- This is a non-smoking property; smoking is not allowed inside the condo nor on the balcony.
- Pets are not allowed at this complex.
