REVIEWS
What a wonderful trip! The house was gorgeous, clean and perfect! The staff were delightful, kind and very helpful. The chefs were ON POINT! Would come back in a heart beat. Jay N. July 2022
The staff was fantastic! From the minute we arrived, which was late, they were supremely helpful. My friends were surprised to have Amalio and Anastasio in the kitchen helping with the groceries we brought with us. We tried to stay out of their way as much as possible and they tried to accommodate us when we had strange American requests. My wife did ask that they prepare salsa and Guacamole more often and we think there may have been a language barrier as it didn’t seem to happen. The house itself is obviously beautiful! All the extra items for beach use were utilized heavily by our crew. I can say that one kayak paddle was a bit messed up on arrival. The blade spun on the handle so I removed the blade to prevent it’s loss. I think Freddy found it as we were leaving. As far a suggestions for improvement go I can only think of simple things. Perhaps a bluetooth adapter for the stereo and more or separate speakers. We noticed that when we turned up the music for the pool/beach it was a bit loud inside. We mused at the idea of running more wire in a foundation like that though. Andres, our security dog handler, and his master Teeny were great! Some of the girls stayed out late and had good conversations with both of them. We utilized The Bob quite a bit and suggest they invest in an ice maker. We changed the name of the store to “no hielo” within a few days. Overall, it was a fantastic trip and the house was beautiful! When we book these trips you never know how representative the pictures and description will be but yours were spot on. If you could just move it closer to the airport for transfer times that would be great. Sincerely, Andy
Hi Desiree, Best vacation ever! The house was wonderful! It was very well appointed, and everyone had their own space. The staff kept it amazingly clean. Irene, the chef, was excellent. She cooked 3 creative and delicious meals every day. Benito was the best chef helper and designed beautiful table displays. We love Mexican food, and they treated us to something from scratch everyday – chilaquiles, empanadas, mole, chile rellenos, soups and the lobster and shrimp grill with the lime garlic chile oil were unbelievable. And always a beautiful presentation. Having a large pot of coffee, sliced fruit and breads waiting for us every morning while they made the rest of the meal was wonderful. Gustavo was extremely helpful, and even got a pediatrician to come to the house on Sunday night as the 5 year old evidently had strep. The airport transfers went pretty well. Two of the airport pickups had some definite difficulty finding the van – about an hour. Both ended up calling and still having problems. However, the pick-ups at the villa were always timely and people really appreciated the service to get to the airport and our day seeing Tulum. The driver took us to a wonderful restaurant on the beach. Just a few thoughts – laundry service was explained as only limited items not as a small load as in the pre-arrival instructions, so we ended up rinsing things by hand ourselves. We would have appreciated more ability to wash clothes. We used the life jackets, scuba gear and all the kayaks a lot. A paddleboard would be a welcome edition. I will highly recommend you and Vida Caribe. I have many photos on Facebook and have been showing them to all my friends and family. They are all very jealous…. 😉 Thank you again for everything. It was an amazing time! Sandy A.
Wow, I can’t describe what a wonderful time we had at Casa Yardena. The house is amazing, the staff was incredible, and the food was delicious. We had the best time and can’t wait to go back one day! We haven’t been able to stop talking about it. I also can’t say enough about the staff. They really took care of us. From the excellent food, to Richardo placing our chairs on the beach every morning. I think they got a kick out of us too, at least I hope so. I think we provided some good entertainment. I will definitely be recommending Casa Yardena to everyone I know! K. Hammon
My many thanks for a great vacation. I wanted to let the rest of the world know just how spectacular your Villa Yardena is. I was amazed at the home. Your pictures on the internet do not do it the real justice it deserves. The home should be described as nothing short of a castle. It was late July and warm. Finding the place was not difficult thanks to your directions and we were greeted by Victor and Gabey and our newest friend Manuel who all helped carry luggage and 75 bags of groceries to the kitchen. The home is amazing and was immaculately clean and ready as promised. Stepping out the back door for the first time with a drink allowed me to soak in the beautiful pool, palm tree’s just 20′ away and the hammocks on the groomed beach. Our chef was Antonio and he was spectacular. He can really put together some great meals all with a Mexican flare but also considerate of what our family liked. He was always there in the morning with a warm smile and hard at work putting together breakfasts the kids liked as well as one for the adults. If your clients can get him some fish either by fishing or Pat @ Pat store in Tulum he can do wonders. We appreciated the transportation you arranged for the big group from the airport and the driver was waiting for them on arrival and on the day we left. Locally we saw the Tulum ruins and Xel-Ha which the kids loved. Our parents in their 70’s enjoyed watching all the grand kids play and relax and they commented that it was the most relaxing vacation they have ever had thanks to Antonio and Alfredo who did all the cooking and clean up of dishes. Security in the area was excelent and Carmen was always present. We thank you and the staff and will carry these memories with us forever. Villa Yardena is one magical place. Brian V.

They were all truly exceptional. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. We look forward to working with you again soon as we organize more retreats. Best wishes to you! Scarlet G.
