Villa Nautica

Villa Nautica is one of a very few private homes on desirable Fatima Bay in the gated resort and residential community of Puerto Aventuras. This very spacious four bedroom home is situated on a large beachfront lot with 20 meters (66 feet) of white sandy beachfront. The villa is highlighted by extensive areas to relax and entertain while always keeping that spectacular ocean view as the focal point.

When you pass through the wrought iron gates, you will find on your right a small home ‘casita’ where the onsite staff and their young family live. Silvia & Roberto are a charming couple who will spoil you during your stay. Beyond the casita you will approach a large hand crafted stone wall with arch entryway. Through here is a vestibule with fountain before reaching the villa door.

Open the door and even before you step inside you will realize that this home is something special.  An entryway with half bathroom conveniently tucked off to the side, leads to a large open concept living space directly in front of you. The main portion of this room is vaulted through the second floor and bathed in natural light.

A feature wall of hand cut and mason stone stretches from floor to roof. A wall of sliding glass opens to create a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor environments, simply perfect for Caribbean living. A comfortable grouping of sofas and a dining table for 6 are washed in natural light and perfectly situated to appreciate the view.

Stepping outside you find a large covered terrace stretching the width of the villa. This inviting space has areas to lounge and to dine al fresco while enjoying the fabulous view and cooling Caribbean tropical breeze. For those who want to soak up the sun, chaise lounges are set up in various places around the pool and on a wooden deck beachside. This very inviting pool is perfectly designed with a sloping edge, various depths and even a couple of underwater loungers with table to keep your refreshments close at hand.

There is a large sandy beach area directly in front of the villa. The water here is quite shallow and the bottom has a lot of coral outcrops and can be a little weedy at times so not ideal for swimming, but good for snorkelling and kayaking.  It is recommended to wear water shoes if getting in here. Down the beach near the Puerto Aventuras Beach Club & Hotel the water bottom is sandy and better suited for playing in the water.

Inside of Villa Nautica, just steps from the dining table, is a large open kitchen with all of the equipment to keep a gourmet chef satisfied and topped off with a great view of the pool and ocean just beyond.
Also on the ground floor on the other side of the house from the kitchen, you will find the Master bedroom suite. Like all of the suites in the villa, this one is large and well fitted. It has an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and large double shower. The Master suite has a King size bed, large screen TV, desk and a walkout to a covered poolside terrace with built in sitting area and large jetted tub. The en-suite bathroom has twin sinks and a large walk in shower.

Heading up to the second level you will arrive at a large landing which is open to the living space below. A ribbon of windows at the perfect height provide a great view of the ocean and let in natural light. Another large window on the other wall provides a view of the gardens on the street side of the property. A comfortable grouping of couches and chairs around an entertainment center provides another relaxing place to gather or find a little alone time.

Leading off of this landing are the three guest bedroom suites. The first is located on the north end of the landing and stretches the length of the home with the bedroom and sitting area and private terrace all capturing an ocean view.  The en-suite bathroom with shower, tub and dual sinks is located on the garden side of the room. The suite is set up with two Queen beds. The second guest suite is on the south side of the home. It too has two Queen beds and sitting area with ocean view. The spacious en-suite bathroom has a shower and two sinks. The third guest bedroom has two Single beds, which can be made up as a King, and a private terrace that looks down on the garden side of the property. An en-suite bathroom with shower and single sink completes the room.

Heading up to the rooftop you will find not only spectacular views, but also a great area to chill. A wet bar and built in sofas under a thatch roof palapa providing shade is inviting for morning sunrises, or evening sundowners. A double chaise lounge invites a cozy place to share some sun worshiping or romantic star gazing.

RATES

NOTES

1. Rates are in USD and do NOT include 22% tax.
2. Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed.
3. Maximum occupancy is 10 guests.
4. The general minimum rental is 3 nights. During the holiday weeks (Presidents Week, Easter/Semana Santa, Thanksgiving and Christmas & New Year) the minimum rental is 7 nights.
5. A non-refundable $150 USD Accidental Damage Waiver Fee is required, which provides up to $1500 USD in coverage against accidental damage to the property.
6. Rates include daily housekeeping (hotel style), groundskeeper, and concierge services Monday through Saturday.
7. Rates include Mexican cook service for breakfast & lunch (guests pay for groceries and shopping fee). Dinner service available for an additional charge.
8. Check in time is 3:00 PM. Check out time is 10:00 AM. If you require an early check in or late check-out, please consider booking an additional night.
9. Only registered guests are allowed on the property. Access to this property is limited to the persons indicated on your confirmation. Parties, dinners, get-togethers, drop in visitors, or any other form of access involving non registered guests, requires prior written permission.
