The charming Casa Chaka is located in the private gated community of South Akumal amongst a small number of other private homes. Located at the end of a quiet street with plenty of parking, Casa Chaka is the perfect place to unwind and just chill or this central Riviera Maya location makes it the perfect base to explore the area and take in the many things to see and do.
Casa Chaka consists of a two bedroom, two bath main villa plus a self-contained garden casita with an one bedroom studio apartment on the ground floor and another on the second floor. This gives a combined total of 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
A lush garden leads to a courtyard and entry to the villa. Along the pathway to your right is a small two storey building or ‘casita’. This little house has a staff suite on the ground floor and the guest suite upstairs. Following the pathway through the garden past the casita, you reach a short set of steps that leads up to the main villa entrance. Step inside and welcome to Casa Chaka. Welcome to paradise.
Once inside of the villa you will be in an entry foyer. Straight ahead is a TV room with vaulted skylight pouring sunshine into the interior of the home. The TV room is bright, comfy and ideally located opening up to the living room so that it can enjoy the view. The TV room flows into the living room. This open area on the ocean side of the villa is not only spacious but offers wonderful views of the ocean just beyond. A vaulted ceiling over the living room plus soft toned furniture, all adds to the open and airy feeling.
Adjacent to the living room is the dining room. This tasteful space also enjoys that very special ocean view. Sliding glass doors provide easy access to the covered terrace and beach just beyond. A dining table with chairs arrangement on the terrace provides an inviting place to enjoy your meals ‘al fresco’.
The Guest bedroom is located of the entry foyer. A large bathroom with shower and tub is connected by a short hallway to the oceanfront bedroom. This ocean facing bedroom has a Queen bed and a walkout to a small covered terrace that can access the beach.
The entire second floor of Casa Chaka is devoted to the Master Suite. The Master suite of Casa Chaka has a King bed and 2 oceanfront terraces offering great privacy. The Master suite bathroom is accessed through a large walk through closet area. The bathroom is fitted with a large ocean facing tub, a walk in shower and double sinks. A door from the bathroom opens up to one of the terraces which wraps around to the bedroom.
The third bedroom at Casa Chaka is located in the garden casita at the back of the property but still very close to the main building. Access is up a short flight of stairs. This charming self-contained casita or ‘little house’ has a small kitchen, sitting area, Queen bed and attached en-suite bathroom with shower. It is ideal for a couple wanting just a little extra privacy from the others. The fourth bedroom at Casa Chaka is also located in the garden casita, on the ground floor. Like the other casita bedroom, the access is private and near the entrance to the main villa.
Of course the real draw of any beach vacation is the outdoor space. With a fabulous ocean view, the light tropical breeze, strikingly blue Caribbean waters and warm inviting sun, Casa Chaka will not disappoint. A covered patio terrace stretches the length of the villa frontage. A table and chairs for outdoor dining as well as chaise lounges are provided for dining and relaxing.
South Akumal bay, where this beautiful villa is located, is considered a prime Akumal location. There are a total of 20 private oceanfront homes in this gated community. An offshore reef provides a break for waves, creating a gorgeous calm bay that is ideal for snorkeling, kayaking (kayaks are provided at Casa Chaka), and swimming. The shoreline ringing the bay is mostly sandy with a few rocky outcrops in places, but never creating a problem finding somewhere to wade into the water. It is ideal for kids and good for beachcombing. Services are not within walking distance, but are located just a short 5-15 minute drive away.

- A non-refundable $40 Accidental Damage Fee Waiver is required which provides up to $1000 in coverage.
- Access to this property is limited to the persons indicated on your confirmation. Exceeding this limit, parties, dinners, get-togethers, drop in visitors, or any other form of access involving non registered guests is a direct violation of our rental agreement and could be reason to ask you to vacate unless prior permission has been granted. .

WEDDINGS & SPECIAL EVENTS POLICY
The villa may not be used for special events or weddings without prior authorization and arrangements.
Event fees below will be added to the standard rental rates.
*20 total attendees including house guests: add $500usd to rental rate.
*Maximum group size 20 people including house guests plus any day guests.
*A minimum of a 5 day rental required.
Event planner is required. The property will only allow Jennifer and Manda from Turtle Bay Weddings as event planners. Weddings and events are required to have them as event planners. Event planner’s staff is responsible for the following:
* Set up and take down of all chairs, tables, etc.
* All event planning functions
* Cleaning up of villa communal areas at the end of the event
* Food and beverage service
